When I was a kid, my friends and I rode our bicycles to Huai Kaeo Waterfall with a paper map. We pushed our bikes up the hills, and down them too, because we were afraid the brakes would fail. This time I went back on Nittaya, my 1992 Honda Dream: past a giant Sompong tree, up a steep mountain road, a night at a quiet guesthouse on the hill, and a slow, misty ride home. No narration.
