Bushcraft Wild Camp by a Forest River | Ultimate Peace

A bushcraft wild camp in the forest by a peaceful little river. A new spot, my first time there. I cooked up beans and black pudding, and had scone and tea after. In the video I am checking my trouser legs at a point, I'm checking for ticks because of the rushes around me, and the known presence of deer in the forest. Such was their prevalence I could actually visually observe the ticks on the end of the rush stalks, just waiting to jump on board the next passing mammal! I used smoke on my clothing to help ward them off me. Not fully successful as I had two on me the next day 😬, all in all though I think the smoke probably helped limit the damage.
