Escaping Athens traffic in 38°C heat was not exactly the relaxing start we hoped for. We set off through the chaos of Athens, looking for a place to get a quick drone shot — but with restricted airspace, heavy traffic, scooters everywhere, people riding in flip-flops and no helmets, the city had other plans. After a short flight and one more push through the traffic, we head toward the Corinth Canal for a quick stop before continuing into the Peloponnese. And then the ride changes completely. The busy city roads turn into dry, open landscapes that feel more like steppes or desert than the Greece most people imagine. The heat makes even a short motorcycle ride surprisingly exhausting, but the views make it worth it. By the end of the day, we finally reach our beach house — a place to slow down, rest, swim, and recharge before the next stage of the journey.
