Don Mueang Airport Amari CHANGED My Mind! Refurbishment ready for take-off 2025

If you've got an early or late flight at Bangkok's Don Mueang Airport, then you might want to grab a night at a hotel. The Amari Don Mueang is actually attached to the airport terminal building and accessed by an air-conditioned enclosed walkway. It's a traditionally styled hotel, and I was a bit underwhelmed by the room and the facilities. But that was before I tried the breakfast! Once I'd tried that my feelings about the hotel completely changed! And after I left I learned some more good news. Starting next month the hotel is undergoing a massive renovation. So make sure you get into one of the 'new' rooms if they're available when you book!
