This Easy Mod on Your Gen 2 Suzuki Hayabusa Will Save You Thousands on Repairs | Kickstand Mod

Suzuki Hayabusa - Kickstand Mod | Save Thousands on Repairs | Cool Kickstand Mod! If you have already purchased or are thinking about buying a 2nd Generation Hayabusa (2008-current). Do this free modification before you do anything else. It will save you a lot of money in the long run! The worst thing to find is your bike fallen over because the kickstand didn't hold the bike up. This is a common problem, you will learn how to fix this in this video! This is a simple modification but will definitely save you money in the long run. First - secure your bike (I used wheel lifts, they run $50 bucks) Second - remove the springs from the back of the kickstand while it is up, not down. Third - Remove the 14mm bolt on the front of the kickstand Forth - Use a silver or white sharpie to mark where to make the notch Fifth - Use a 17mm and remove the bolt from the back holding the kickstand on. Sixth - Take a grinder, dremel, or your choice of device to remove the metal material from the kickstand. I used an air powered die grinder with 1.4 metal removal bit. Seventh - Test fit and mark the back. ***Once you mark the back, remove and grind that material off. Last - spray a coat of black paint on it and reinstall the kickstand. It will help if you use a smaller flat head to put the dual springs back on. DONE!!!
