This Simple Wooden Self-Defense Tool Is 100% Legal — and Perfect for Seniors

Could a simple wooden stick give seniors a practical way to respond when someone grabs them? This video takes a close look at the kubotan-style self-defense tool, explaining why leverage and a concentrated pressure point can be useful when grip strength, mobility, or confidence isn't what it used to be. You'll learn about the tool's basic grips, how it is intended to create an opportunity to escape, and why it should be viewed as a way to buy a few seconds—not as a replacement for a complete safety plan. The video also discusses choosing a sturdy, simple design, practicing safely, and the importance of checking your local laws before carrying any impact tool. Most importantly, this is about realistic expectations, preparation, and choosing a tool you can actually handle under stress.
