Clay Lily Egg Holder / Ceramic Egg Cup — a handmade flower-shaped egg cup made from clay, without using a pottery wheel. In this video, I show you how I made a lily-shaped egg holder completely by hand, using simple hand-building techniques. I started with individual clay petals and gradually built the flower layer by layer, creating a delicate ceramic egg cup inspired by a real lily. This was my first time making a clay flower like this, so I didn’t have the final shape completely planned from the beginning. I decided to figure it out as I went and see where the clay would take me. This ceramic lily egg cup will be a special handmade gift for my mom, whom I’m going to visit soon after not seeing her for a year and a half. ❤️ 🌸 In this video: • Making a lily from clay • Handmade clay petals • Building a flower layer by layer • Making a ceramic egg holder / egg cup • Hand-building pottery without a pottery wheel • Adding realistic details to clay • Preparing a ceramic piece for firing No pottery wheel was used for this project — everything was made by hand.
