Did you know you can use Posca markers to create art over gel polish?! Early on in my nail tech/artist career, I learned that me and trying to create art with a detail brush was not going to be a long-term relationship. So yeeears ago I tried drawing (writing) with random things specifically, sharpie markers. But, when I would go in with my topcoat, the design would smear. It wouldn't look terrible, but it also wasn't the look I wanted. Somewhere, somehow, I stumbled across acrylic markers and the fact that you could indeed pair it with gel polish and I fell in love! Posca pens (PC-1MR) and markers are great for designing over gel polish. If you're not ready to make that investment with Posca, you can start off with any acrylic marker set that can be easily found on Amazon. I've also noticed that some nail companies are offering them on their sites as well.
