Matthew 1:17-20 closes the genealogy of Jesus and opens the story of His birth.

Fourteen generations, three times over Matthew 1:1720 closes the genealogy of Jesus and opens the story of His birth. Mary is betrothed to Joseph and found with child of the Holy Spirit; Joseph, a just man, plans to put her away secretly until an angel of the Lord appears to him in a dream: "Do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit." A quiet, reverent reading paired with an original song composed from these verses, for rest and reflection. 🙏 Matthew 1:1720 (NKJV)#BirthOfJesus #HolySpirit #JosephAndMary #AngelInADream #NKJV #BibleReading #ChristianFaith #LampAndScroll
