Lyrics Slow water over my name nobody calling me back I learned to live on the floor of this counting the light like it owed me a kiss held my breath till it turned into glass told myself drowning was just letting pass And the days went grey, and the grey went long and I forgot the shape of the word I belong Come up for air, come up for air there's a whole tired sky that still wants you there I waited so low for so long I forgot that the surface was only an inch from the dark You knocked on the water, I felt it like rain soft little thunder above all the weight I reached for the brightness, my hands wouldn't move some part of me liked it down here in the blue And the cold made a home, and the home made a wall and I called it my peace so it wouldn't feel small Come up for air, come up for air there's a whole tired sky that still wants you there I waited so low for so long I forgot that the surface was only an inch from the dark One kick, one breath, one terrible climb the light didn't leave me, it just took its time Come up come up the air was always there Cometfall, Helsinki. #cometfall #comeupforair #lyrics #alternativerock
