School Meals as a Food Systems Investment: What Role for Agricultural PDBs?

The Agri-PDB Platform and the Sustainable Financing Initiative (SFI) organised a webinar dedicated to "School Meals as a Food Systems Investment: What Role for Agricultural PDBs?". Together with speakers from SFI, African Development Bank Group, BNDES and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the Platform explored: 📈 How school meals can generate benefits across nutrition, agriculture, education and rural development. 🌱 How agricultural and food systems finance can support school nutrition while strengthening smallholder livelihoods. 🏦 How national PDBs and multilateral development banks can collaborate to support local producers and food value chains supplying schools. 🤝 Financing instruments, technical assistance and partnerships that can help connect farmers and agri-SMEs to school food markets.
