Pokemon Violet - 7* Annihilape the Unrivaled (4) with Hisuian Zoroark

Accidentally turned down the volume between recordings and so this one is noticeably less loud... Oh well. Anyways, this was the original theorycrafted 'counter' for this raid: a normal/ghost type is naturally immune to Annihilape's ghost and fighting STAB. It was in the air as to whether Annihilape's coverage would be an issue (since it can learn dark moves like Assurance)... but nope, they only gave it Ice/Thunder Punch, so it's not too hard. Unlike Archaludon and the others which do want Intimidate and other debuffers, H.Zoroark instead really needs zero debuffers, since you're neither removing Defiant nor ignoring oneshots with Sturdy. Technically this team setup isn't perfect, since Umbreon has Psychic and Drifblim has Shadow Ball (10% and 20% chance for -1 SpD respectively) but luckily it seems like I was lucky this run. These NPCs were super on the ball with applying statuses (for Hex), too, with Drifblim's Will-O-Wisp before shield, Clodsire's Poison Jab poison through shield, and Umbreon's Thunder Wave after the debuff wipe. Zero complaints! All in all, a surprisingly intimidating raid prompted a bunch of theorycrafting and dedicated counters. Gotta love 7* raids!
