It released on September 22, 2017 for the Nintendo Switch as an enhanced port of the arcade and Wii U versions that came prior. This game features 23 playable Pokémon the player can battle with in a 1v1 battle against other players, as well as 36 support Pokémon that players can call upon for help. Each round starts off in a 3D arena named Field Phase, but battling will bring players to the 2D style seen in other fighting games called Duel Phase. These phases are returned to multiple times per game.
