❤️ UNDERSTANDING GOD’S LOVE | JOHN 19:16–30 | REV. DR. SAHEB JOHN BORGALL

What does the Bible really mean when it speaks about God’s love? In this powerful message, Rev. Dr. Saheb John Borgall explores the different expressions of God's love found throughout Scripture, beginning with Agape Love—the selfless, sacrificial, unconditional love that God has shown us through Jesus Christ. The greatest picture of Agape love is found at the cross of Jesus Christ. As we look at John 19:16–30, we see Christ willingly enduring suffering and giving His life for us. This sacrifice was not simply an expression of love in words—it was love demonstrated through complete obedience and self-giving sacrifice. The prophecy of the suffering servant in Isaiah 52:13–14 and Isaiah 53:3–7 points us toward the suffering and sacrifice of Christ. Jesus was despised and rejected, wounded and afflicted, yet He willingly bore our suffering and gave Himself for us. This message invites us to pause and consider: Have we truly understood the depth of God's love for us? Agape love reminds us that God's love is not based on our worthiness or what we can give Him. It is a love that gives, sacrifices, forgives, and pursues us. As we look at the cross, we are reminded that God's love is not merely something we read about—it is something we see in the person and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. ❤️ Topic: God's Love – Agape Love ✝️ Focus: The Sacrificial Love of Jesus Christ 🎙️ Speaker: Rev.
