Lyrics : (Intro) I hear your voice through the telephone wire... My heart skips a beat, but the words get stuck in my throat. I can't quite say "I love you" tonight... But maybe, just maybe... (Verse 1) But if you ever wake up and feel this way, (Wake up and need me, boy!) Don't let your yesterdays stand in the way! (Leave all those ghosts behind!) Just run, baby run, till you're out of breath, (Run to my waiting arms!) Come find me, darling, I'll love you to death! (Chorus) If you ever believe that your love is true, (True love is calling you!) And the world is too heavy, and you're feeling blue, (Don't let the shadows win!) When you don't know which road is the right one to take... Come find me, baby, for goodness sake! (Bridge) When the gray skies above make you want to hide, (Heavy world, heavy heart...) When the spark fades away and you're empty inside, Oh darling... just think of me! (Think of the love we'll share!) Oh yeah, just think of me! (I'll always be right there!) (Verse 2) So if you ever believe that you love me so, (Don't let the feeling go!) Don't see it as trouble, just let it grow! (Let it grow big and strong!) Just run, yes run, till you're out of breath, (Hurry now, don't delay!) Come find me, darling, I'll love you to death! (Chorus) If you ever believe that your love is true, (True love is calling you!) Don't wait for a week, or a day or two! (Tomorrow might be too late!) 'Cause you never know where this crazy life steers, Just come find me, baby, I'm waiting right here! (Bridge) When the gray skies above make you want to hide, (Heavy world, heavy heart...) When the spark fades away and you're empty inside, Oh darling... just think of me! (Think of the love we'll share!) Oh yeah, think of me! (Outro) Run to me, baby... (Whenever you're feeling down!) Oh, come find me... (I'll turn your whole world around!) Don't wait another day... (Run to my open arms...) Just think of me... #retro #sixties #1963 #hitsong #archive #nostalgia
