Irmo High School The Bands Of Irmo When The Forest Calls @Swamp Classic My heart goes out to all of the people impacted by Hurricane Helene, especially the bands that weren't able to come to this competition, and the locations that have cancelled their own events. We just got out power back on after 8 days, so it's time to process videos! Next year's season, y'all, will be much better and less apocalyptical. Every year I try and do something a little better. This year, we had a new Mic and noise isolation box. it did a really good job of isolating the field and made things a little odd with the announcements, that speaker is off to the sides where the microphone starts its noise isolation. To the band directors: You’ve led these students to this amazing point, I hope I can capture (in image and videos) how awesome they sound, how vibrant they are and please use this as a study aid if needed. I look forward to working with you this year again. You helped my kids be so much better, so I do this for you 😎 To all the band members past, present and future: You are amazing! I didn’t have band growing up, and I saw how awesome my kids turned out by going through band. I am so excited to put into pictures and videos of the discipline and work that you all put into the sport, and I can’t wait to see what’s happening this year. I do this for you as well. 📸 To all the parents: I hope that my pics can help capture a moment of your kids as mine were captured. It helped my wife when she needed it, and friends and family members don’t get to see these sights normally.
