MARAKWET EAST MABADILIKO LAZIMA

“MARAKWET EAST MABADILIKO LAZIMA” is a powerful song about the need for renewed leadership, accountability, development and a better future for the people of Marakwet East. It reflects on concerns about development and leadership over the past 25 years and calls for the community to examine what has been achieved, what remains unfinished, and what kind of leadership and development priorities are needed for the next generation. The song highlights the importance of water, reliable infrastructure, education, healthcare, youth and women's opportunities, agriculture, employment, technology, environmental conservation and social protection, while encouraging citizens to participate peacefully and thoughtfully in determining the constituency's future. “Mabadiliko Lazima” — change is necessary when communities seek better opportunities, stronger accountability and a brighter future for their children. #JoelYegoKiongozi #ChangeNow #Think #Votewisely2027
