The Magic Mountain by Thomas Mann, the German novelist, is one of the most important novels of German literature. It was published in 1924, but Thomas Mann had written the bulk of it before First World War. I read the 1996 English translation by John E. Woods. In this video, I will discuss 10 lessons we can learn from this novel on major philosophies, the nature of time, rationality and Davos. I'm on a journey to read unique fiction and stories from every country on earth. I would very much appreciate if you subscribed, shared and liked my videos.
