Brew Guide: My Easy Two-Cup Hario Switch Recipe

I needed an easy recipe for brewing coffee for my wife and I every morning. So I came up with this easy-to-follow method using a hybrid immersion dripper like the Hario Switch: half percolation, half immersion. The result is a medium-body brew that highlights the chocolate and sugar notes of this delicious Colombia Supremo specialty coffee beans from Rositas Coffee Roasters. Recipe: 30g coffee, medium-coarse grind (#7 in Chestnut S3) 450g water, heated to 92°C Brew: 00:00 - 1st Pour: Bloom. Pour 50g of water. 00:30 - 2nd Pour: Percolation. Pour 200g. 01:30 - 3rd Pour: Immersion. Close the switch and pour 200g. 03:00 - Open the switch and let the coffee draw down.
