Mortal Kombat II - 07:49 [Very Hard] [NHPT] [REV. 3.1]

Difficulty is shown at the end. I'm more of a tea guy, however, when it comes to playing Mortal Kombat II, I plot a sombre course down to the Douwe Egberts. I've my demitasse spoon out of it's sheath and in-hand, ready to stir up a storm against the computer. I'll be sat in my captains chair with ten toes tucked into a ramekin, so you know I'm about to cook. Join me on my ascent from the bloodied bell-bottom Outworld's Belmont fight plan, along the way diffusing the loutish drones that litter this kombat krag. All before reaching the kahnum cake topper that shields what I wish to yield.. VICTORY!! Remember, these drones hail from the panopticon that is Mortal Kombat II's AI. It is absolutely ruthless, leaning in to "i" frames, the overriding of ones moves, reading inputs and punishing you with a reaction time that is inhumanly possible. You must respect the frames and study the patterns the game was built on. Make the computer react to you, don't react to it. Know what you can and cannot get away with. Through persistence you will get consistence. No matter how faceted a run may be, you will always fall back on your basics: spacing, timing and execution. When you are in control and receiving good RNG, be sure not to squander it, keep your mistakes to a soupcon, as the computer is an opportunist and the clock ticks on regardless as to how good or bad you are playing. Your bandwidth will be tried and taxed as you make the attempt to annex the purple rock that is Outworld. I've left that tower on all fours and wrapped in gores, black and blue, beaten to a pulp. But, It was worth it. The satisfaction that comes from simply clearing the tower, let alone securing a decent time, is unmatched. Give it a try. As for me, it's time for me to put my nose to the grindstone. Break out the barbasol, I'm about to shave time.
