Anything? No! Pick up the word of God (the bible) and start reading. Agree with what God says in His book. Step 2 (this is second -- you can't skip step 1 to get to step 2): repent, which means to turn around -- That is, change your mind / change your thinking. Step 3 tells you to turn to Jesus, which is what Step 1 is all about. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- See complimentary gear video for signal chain details (this video and the gear video are bound together using a playlist). This project started out as a tribute to Robin Trower. I researched gear and dialed up the univibe(s). Then, the project took a turn to dueling guitars. What was originally intended as a 6 month project became double (12 months). These two guitars are feature throughout my channel. Details of these guitars are available. The Gretsch hollowbody (2011 G5122) is as from the factory, while this video features the Tremonti' signature treble pickup as installed in the PRS SE-EG (2008). The Czar of Zonk recommends "The 11:11 Sign" channel, and the DTBM channel. Personal: I have succumb to arthritis in my left hand (lefty playing right-hand guitars). I have been on a quest to get to a shred level, but that quest has to be abandoned. I try to do full performance takes with no fixes, outside of minor string buzz or similar. As in: fade-in/fade-out and set levels (audio). On this performance, I did about two dozen takes -- each side -- and picked the best take. I had to fix a flub here or there, for which I pulled from another take (audio). Normally, I would just do another take, but the problem is that my arthritis condition prevents endless takes. From here on out, no more shredding. The left hand can't deal with that much practice. I practice, on average, 3 hours each day. That's a lot of physical wear and tear.
