The Beatles - Octopus's Garden (Alternate Version - TV Re-Recording)

An alternate version of Octopus's Garden. In 1969, ITV produced a television special titled 'With A Little Help From My Friends' as a tribute to George Martin and his profound impact on the music industry. Notably, Ringo Starr took part in the special and consented to lip-sync a performance of 'Octopus's Garden.' In adherence to the guidelines set forth by the Musicians' Union, a re-recording was undertaken to create the illusion that Starr was singing live. For this purpose, new instrumental tracks were recorded by accomplished session musicians while retaining the original vocal track.
