I recorded the guitars and bass myself, programmed the drums, and handled the mixing and mastering of the instrumental.❗ I originally planned to make a guitar play-through video, but I’ve been sick for the past few weeks. So, unfortunately, it’s just a lyric video, same as usual. For this remix, I used a real tube amp, a Marshall JCM 900 SL-X, for the first time in a long while. I also switched from EZ Drummer to GGD The Downbeat for the drums, though I blended in my own samples for the snare and kick. The guitar was a Solar A 1.6 tuned to Drop C, and the bass was an SX P-Bass with a Quarter-Pounder pickup, tuned to E standard. I’m really happy with how the mix turned out.
