Xabi Alonso Warned Us About Vini Jr. Nobody Listened...

Xabi Alonso and Vinícius Júnior. Xabi lasted just 233 days at Real Madrid, and somewhere along the way he reportedly shouted at his players: “I didn’t know I was coming to coach a nursery!” Most people laughed it off and said Xabi was too rigid for a dressing room full of superstars. One year later, it’s starting to look like he was the only one telling the truth. In this video, we break down the full story of Xabi Alonso and Vini Jr. It starts with the problem of two stars wanting the same left wing and Xabi telling Vinícius he wasn’t untouchable. Then came the “Always me!” outburst in the Clásico, the apology that left out his coach’s name, and Xabi’s exit with Vini staying silent. We also follow everything after: the brief revival under Arbeloa, a World Cup that ended in heartbreak, the new contract until 2032, and a nightmare start under Mourinho with the red card at Villarreal and a four-game ban that rules him out of El Clásico. Xabi wasn’t perfect, but since he left, the excuses have run out one by one. So was Xabi Alonso right about Vini Jr all along?
