I Put 35mm GP 5000 Tires on My Aero Bike. Can It Keep Up?

I like big tires, so when Continental introduced a 35mm GP 5000 S TR, I decided to try them on my Quintana Roo Service Course aero road bike. The frame had enough tire clearance, but I also needed a 1x SRAM Force XPLR drivetrain. Then I took my wacky setup to one of my fastest local group rides to see if these super wide road tires could keep up.
