The goal: smash the Soviet bridgehead, restore the Danube line, and hold the Nagykanizsa oil fields, the Reich's final source of fuel. Armor rolls forward through thawing mud and spring rain into prepared Soviet defenses, minefields, and anti-tank guns dug in and waiting. This playthrough follows the German side of the assault: combined-arms pushes, tank support, infantry clearing entrenchments, and the grinding attrition of an offensive that was running on empty before it began.
