Egypt collapsed. A king from Thebes rebuilt it. Then Egypt turned south into Nubia, Kerma rose into a major Nile Valley power, the Hyksos took the north, and the last rulers of Thebes found themselves caught between two enemies.
This 2+ hour documentary follows the centuries that transformed ancient Egypt: from the First Intermediate Period and Mentuhotep II, through the Middle Kingdom and Egypt’s Nubian fortress system, to the rise of Kerma, the Hyksos, Seqenenre Tao II, Kamose, Ahmose I and the birth of the New Kingdom.
This is Volume II of Egypt & Nubia: The Complete History.
