The Queensland Government has now permitted waste companies to dump billions of tonnes of garbage on top of these mine tunnels and shafts which go some 400meters below the surface into the Clarence Moreton Basin, which is the coastal underground water supply for Eastern Australia for thousands of farmers and supplies fresh water to the Great Barrier Reef. The Clarence Moreton Basin is a sub-basin of The Great Artesian Basin (GAB), located in Australia, which is the largest and deepest artesian basin in the world, stretching over 1,700,000 square kilometres. The Queensland Labor Government with the support of the Greens, has given permits to the waste companies to dispose of every toxic chemical known to mankind in their dumps over these mine shafts and tunnels including PFAS and asbestos. Generations to come will be living in a very toxic world created by the Greens and Labor.
