At the Oxford Africa Conference 2026, President Bio challenged African leaders, institutions, and young people to rise boldly in an age of disruption, addressing democracy, regional security, climate change, youth empowerment, food security, and the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence. Speaking as President of Sierra Leone and Chairman of ECOWAS, he called for leadership grounded not just in vision, but in action, stability, and meaningful reform.
