Mondia Orbitron Part II

In this video a Mondia Orbitron with an AS1913 movement gets a new-used cannon pinion. This was a difficult repair that took me five hours. The Adolf Schild AS1913 movement has its cannon pinion on an intermediate wheel buried in the movement. I did not know that when I started the repair. I discovered it in the process. Additionally, my ego got in the way because this repair should have been easy and it was not. But this video gets to the heart of what I love about watchmaking: you can never know it all, and the pleasure of it is actually in overcoming the challenge of figuring it out as you go. This is my second video about this watch. It still needs a complete overhaul, cleaning and lubrication.
