"The Bardotka Bash" Day 1, Part 1: Košice to Bardejov, 27th June 2026

The first part of day one of European Railtours 'Bardotka Bash' with locomotives provided by ZSSK Cargo and coaching stock provided by Detská železnica Košice. https://europeanrailtours.co.uk/the-b... 27th June 2026 Košice - Bardejov via Prešov & Kapušany. The ultimate destination was to be as far as the train could go on the freight only section beyond Bardejov station which turned out to be adjacent the 'Waschine' car wash - much to the amusement of many trying to record how far the train went! The weather was excellent - the event occurred during a major heatwave with daytime temperatures reaching 38c. Phew!!
