A festive atmosphere turned into mourning in an instant following a stampede at the Chorbagan public Durga Puja pandal in Kolkata on Saturday evening. An eyewitness present at the scene reported that there was a large crowd both inside and outside the pandal on Maha Saptami. As heavy rain began to fall, people scrambled to find shelter, leading to an increasing concentration of the crowd within the pandal. Amidst this, a wooden structure collapsed, triggering a stampede. The cause of the structure's collapse is currently under investigation. #Kolkata #KolkataStampede #DurgaPuja #DurgaPuja2026 #Chorbagan #KolkataNews #MahaSaptami #StampedeNews #WestBengalNews #DurgaPujaPandal #BreakingNews #LatestNews #HindiNews #DynamiteNews #कोलकाता #दुर्गापूजा #भगदड़
