The motorcycle has been updated in accordance with OBD2B norms besides receiving other subtle changes. It continues to be available in single-disc and dual-disc variants that are priced at Rs. 1,21,951 and Rs. 1,27,956, respectively (both prices are ex-showroom). The front fascia of the 2025 SP160 has been tweaked to look sharper with a more angular headlamp section. The rest of the bodywork, however, remains unchanged. Unlike the previous model which was available in six colours, the new model comes in a choice of four shades including Radiant Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, and Athletic Blue Metallic. On the feature front, there’s a new 4.2-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity and Honda RoadSync app compatibility. It gives access to turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, and music playback. Honda has also given the new SP160 a USB Type-C charging port. The 162.71cc, air-cooled engine has been updated to comply with upcoming OBD2B norms. Interestingly, the torque output power has gone up marginally to 14.8Nm while the power output, at 13bhp, has seen a minute drop of 0.2bhp. The Honda Unicorn has been a reliable commuter choice for a lot of Indians for over 20 years. Though largely unchanged during this time, it remains a crowd favourite, known for its simplicity and dependable performance. One big update it received earlier was the shift from a 150cc engine to a 160cc one. Even with this change, the Unicorn has stayed mostly the same. However, with the growing competition in the 150-160cc segment, the Unicorn needed an update to remain relevant and competitive. The most significant change to the Honda Unicorn has been done to the engine. It is now OBD2B-compliant, meeting the latest emission standards set to take effect from 1 April 2025. The 162.71cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine makes 13.18PS and 14.58Nm, and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. While the overall design remains unchanged, the Unicorn’s classic look appeals to the masses. It is available in a total of 3 colour options: Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, and Radiant Red Metallic.
