पुरवा जलप्रपात मध्य प्रदेश राज्य के रीवा जिले में स्थित एक प्राकृतिक झरना है। यह रीवा जिले के एक शहर सेमरिया के अंतर्गत आता है। यह एक पवित्र और पर्यटन स्थल बसावन मामा के पास है। जल प्रपात की ऊंचाई लगभग 200 फीट (लगभग 67 मीटर) हैं , झरने तीव्र हैं और हर सेकेंड में भारी मात्रा में पानी गिरता है। फॉल्स रीवा पठार की चट्टान से उतरते हुए टोंस नदी पर हैं। जल प्रपात की सुन्दरता मौसम के साथ बदलती रहती है ,जब बारिश पूरे जोरों पर होती है तो यंहा का नज़ारा बहुत अदभुत होता है | बारिस के दिनोंं में यहां थोडी थोडी देर में कई इंद्रधनुष बनते रहते हैं जो अत्यंत सुंदर दिखाई देते हैं। जिला मुख्यालय रीवा से यह लगभग 32 किलोमीटर एवं जिला मुख्यालय सतना से लगभग 55 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित है | Purva Falls is a natural waterfall located in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh state. It comes under Semaria, a town in Rewa district. It is a holy and tourist place near Basavan Mama. The height of the waterfall is about 200 feet (about 67 meters), the waterfalls are intense and a huge amount of water falls every second. The falls are on the Tons river, descending from the cliffs of the Rewa plateau. The beauty of the waterfall varies with the season, when the rain is in full swing, the view here is very amazing. During the rainy season, many rainbows are formed here in a short time, which look very beautiful. It is situated at a distance of about 32 kms from district headquarter Rewa and about 55 kms from district headquarter Satna.
