However, since they weren't designed to be playable, they can cause the game to crash simply by being on the left side of the screen (facing right), at least in the US version. In the third Japanese version, the game doesn't crash, but I was unable to execute certain moves. Treat the CPU's moves more as a curiosity; actually playing as these characters isn't really viable. FATAL FURY / GAROU DENSETSU (餓狼伝説) is a fighting game, originally released by SNK in the year 1991 for Arcade/Neo Geo. It was the first title in the series and was envisioned as a spiritual successor to Street Fighter. The game was also later released for Super Nintendo (SNES), Mega Drive / Sega Genesis, Neo Geo CD, Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 (PS4), Xbox One (XONE), Sharp X68000, Nintendo Wii, and in the Fatal Fury Battle Archives Volume 1 compilation for Playstation 2 (PS2).
