Jagwar Twin, Loser (live), Fox Theater, Oakland, CA, September 17, 2019 (4K)

Roy English, a/k/a Jagwar Twin, opens for Avril Lavigne and plays "Loser" live in concert at the Fox Theater in Oakland, California on September 19, 2019. Loser originally appeared as the lead single from his debut full-length album, Subject To Flooding, which was released in September 2018. Loser is Jagwar Twin's signature song, and his fan email list is called "the Loser Club." In an interview, Roy English said this about the song: "We all walk around with masks on, disguised as what we think the world wants to see. But if everyone was to remove their masks they would come to find that we are all just human underneath; that we are all losers.” English was a member of the bands Dead Letter Diaries and Eye Alaska, and went solo in 2015. He has also produced songs for Lana Del Rey ("I Can Fly") and Alesso ("Cool"). Joining him onstage were Luke Villegas (guitar), Pete Jonas (bass), and Rhett Randolph (drums). ================================================= Avril Lavigne - Head Above Water live tour dates (with Jagwar Twin as opener): Sept. 14 - Seattle, WA @ Paramount Theatre Sept. 15 - Portland, OR @ Keller Auditorium Sept. 17 - Oakland, CA @ Fox Theatre Sept. 18 - Los Angeles, CA @ Greek Theatre Sept. 21 - Denver, CO @ Paramount Theatre Sept. 24, Minneapolis, MN @ State Theatre Sept. 26 - Chicago, IL @ Chicago Theatre Sept. 28 - Detroit, MI @ Fox Theatre Oct. 1 - New York, NY @The Rooftop at Pier 17 Oct. 3 - Boston, MA @ Orpheum Theatre Oct. 5 - Wallingford, CT @ Toyota Oakdale Theatre Oct. 6 - Toronto, ON @ Meridian Hall Oct. 8 - Pittsburgh, PA @ Roxian Theatre Oct. 9 - Oxon Hill, MD @ The Theater at MGM National Harbor Oct. 11 - Philadelphia, PA @ Xcite Center ================================================ Loser lyrics: Jericho fell like a wave Maybe I'm bad in my brain I’m a loser, baby, just like you (La-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la) Television on your frame Everybody's all the same I'm a loser, baby, just like you (La-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la) I got sunshine in my mind Wake up and I’m feeling fine I got sunshine in my mind Wake up and I say Baby, I'm a loser, yeah, yeah, yeah Just like you, just like you Baby, I'm a loser, yeah, yeah, yeah Just like you, just like you Click on your clock radio Ain't got much time 'til I blow I'm a loser, baby, just like you (La-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la) California, Mexico You know I love you the most I'm a loser, baby, just like you (La-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la) I got sunshine in my mind Wake up and I'm feeling fine I got sunshine in my mind Wake up and I say Baby, I’m a loser, yeah, yeah, yeah Just like you, just like you Baby, I’m a loser, yeah, yeah, yeah Just like you, just like you I think the world's gone insane I think the world’s gone insane We're singing Baby, I'm a loser, yeah, yeah, yeah Just like you, just like you Baby, I'm a loser, yeah, yeah, yeah Just like you, just like you Written by Roy English / Travis Barker / Jeff Bhasker ========================================= Typo catcher: Jaguar Twin, Jaguire Twin
