The Ten Commandments: The Way of Life According to Yahusha The Ten Commandments are more than a list of rules. They reveal Yahuah’s character, establish the foundation of His covenant, and teach mankind how to live. In this fourth video in the According to Yahusha series, we examine the Ten Commandments from the beginning of Scripture through Sinai and beyond. We look at the pattern Scripture repeatedly shows: Yahuah speaks, human beings are given a choice, and our choices produce consequences. The Ten Commandments teach us how to love Yahuah and how to love one another. They address worship, idolatry, Yahuah’s Name, the Sabbath, honoring father and mother, murder, adultery, stealing, false witness, and even the desires of the heart. But the Ten Commandments are only the foundation. Scripture continues teaching us how to apply love, mercy, justice, patience, self-control, compassion, and faithfulness throughout the rest of our lives. Obedience does not purchase forgiveness. Yahusha is our Deliverer, and we depend upon what He accomplished through His blood. But when the heart is being changed, obedience becomes the evidence of love, faith, repentance, and a genuine desire to walk in Yahuah’s ways. According to Yahusha, discipleship is not simply hearing the Word. It is learning it, guarding it, and living it. Learn them. Guard them. Live them.
