Why Your Apple Isn't As Fresh As You Think

An apple can spend months in storage and still be crisp. Its journey begins before picking, with harvest timing, careful handling, refrigeration and sometimes a tightly controlled atmosphere. This episode follows the real research behind that wait, from maturity tests to the difference between firmness and flavour. Not every apple is stored for months or receives the same treatment.
