Ďáblice: Jak se žije na nejkrásnějším sídlišti?

Ďáblice jsou jedno z nejzajímavějších pražských sídlišť. Nejen díky své zeleni a promyšlenému urbanismu, ale hlavně díky lidem, kteří tu žijí a kteří si k tomuto místu za desítky let vytvořili vztah. Vydal jsem se zjistit, jak se v Ďáblicích žije a jak i podoba veřejného prostoru, a vzájemné peče o něj, pomáhá u lidí vytvářet pocit domova. Mluvím s lidmi, kteří tu prožili velkou část života, se sousedy, kteří se starají o zeleň a předzahrádky, i s těmi, kteří se v rámci spolku Krásné Kobylisy snaží chránit charakter Ďáblic před necitlivou zástavbou. V kulturním prostoru úl jsem na konci epizody zachytil představení Být, bydlit, obyvatel, byt od Chemického divadla. Jeho režisér v něm vychází i ze svých vlastních vzpomínek na Ďáblice a mluví o tom, proč je podle něj důležité zajímat se o veřejný prostor a o to, jak spolu v místě, kde žijeme, chceme být. Not only because of its greenery and thoughtful urban planning, but mainly because of the people who live here and who have developed a relationship with this place over the decades. I set out to find out how people live in Ďáblice and how the appearance of public space, and mutual care for it, helps create a sense of home for people. I talk to people who have spent a large part of their lives here, with neighbors who take care of the greenery and front gardens, and with those who, within the Krásné Kobylisy association, are trying to protect the character of Ďáblice from insensitive development. In the cultural space of the úl, at the end of the episode, I caught the performance Být, bydlit, obyvatel, byt by the Chemické divadlo. Its director also draws on his own memories of Ďáblice and talks about why he thinks it is important to be interested in public space and how we want to be together in the place where we live.
