Real-time train cab ride through Norway. This video follows Train 471 from Trondheim to Mosjøen along the spectacular Nordland Line, hauled by a Di 4 diesel locomotive. The journey takes place during a beautiful summer day, travelling through some of Norway's most varied railway scenery. Leaving Trondheim behind, the train passes the fertile landscapes of Trøndelag before continuing north through dense forests, rolling hills, deep valleys and remote mountain terrain on its way toward Helgeland. Most of the trip is blessed with pleasant weather and excellent visibility, allowing the scenery of the Nordland Line to be fully appreciated. Toward the end of the journey, light rain moves in, adding a different atmosphere as the train approaches Mosjøen. This video was recorded using an externally mounted GoPro Hero 10, providing an unobstructed view of the railway ahead and the dramatic landscapes along one of Norway's longest and most scenic railway lines.
