How to Fix Your Deep Freezer (before replacing the relay) - Try This first!!

Deep freezer doesn’t have any power AT ALL? How to fix or troubleshoot what’s wrong with your deep freezer BEFORE you replace the start relay! My issue was my deep freezer did not power on at all. When I plugged it in I got nothing, no light, no sound from the compressor. The first YouTube video I found was to replace the start relay. Did that, got nothing. Then I went ahead and wired the Supco 3 in 1 start. Still nothing. If I would of tested the thermostat before ordering the relay, and before eventually getting the 3 in 1 start, I would of saved myself some time and some money as well. So check your thermostat first, using this easy method! If you bypass the thermostat and you hear the compressor kick on, the thermostat is your problem. Just be sure to always be safe and use caution! Model of my deep freezer is Midea NSCZ10WH6 - originally purchased from Best Buy, branded as Insignia. Replacement parts easily purchased from Amazon.
