Artwork by BruceHolwerda.com Footprints On The Moon - Will Knox: One life Too little time to start A love that was meant to last. I tried To fight the fists of time But fell to the sound of its chimes I pray our souls are saved in a life beyond the grave That our hearts wont waste away Like two canaries in a cage When all that remains of this human race Is footprints on the moon. I traced My steps a thousand times Knowing there was nothing to find I laced my veins with liquor and lust But nothing could replace your touch I pray our souls are saved in a life beyond the grave That our hearts wont waste away Like two canaries in a cage When all that remains of this human race Is footprints on the moon. One life Too little time to start A love that was meant to last. I pray our souls will be saved in a life beyond the grave That our hearts wont waste Like two canaries in a cage When all that remains of this human race Is footprints on the moon.
