I walked across to an Island and explored : Granite Island South Australia's Coastline

A relaxing walk across the historic causeway to Granite Island, one of the most beautiful coastal walks near Victor Harbor, South Australia. This silent travel vlog follows a morning in Victor Harbor, starting with a walk to gather some snacks for the journey, before crossing the causeway onto Granite Island, exploring its coastal walking trail, and finishing with a coffee back in town. Granite Island is known for its rugged granite rock formations, coastal walking track and panoramic ocean views, and is home to a small colony of Little Penguins. It's easily reached on foot from Victor Harbor via the causeway, alongside the horse-drawn tram that still carries visitors across. The walk takes in sweeping views along the coastline, weathered granite boulders shaped by the ocean, and a few unexpected discoveries along the way, including a curious blue-tongue lizard crossing the path. Along the causeway, keep an eye out for the horse tram making its way across. After finding a quiet spot with a view (and, of course, a sandwich), I make my way back across the causeway into Victor Harbor, pausing at a wishing well along the way, before finishing the day with a coffee in a quiet corner of town.
