We Followed Google Maps in Arrecife… Look Where We Ended Up!

Join us as we explore Arrecife, Lanzarote, on foot after arriving by cruise ship on MSC Virtuosa. 🇪🇸🏝️ We were disappointed to discover that MSC hadn't provided a free shuttle bus from the cruise port into the town, something we've experienced with other cruise companies. So, rather than paying for transport, we decided to walk and see what we could discover along the way. Our first adventure took us through some of the quieter back streets of Arrecife, and with the help of Google Maps, we eventually found our way towards the centre. Along the way, we even stopped at a supermarket to pick up some supplies — because what's a cruise excursion without a little shopping? But the biggest surprise was still to come! Eventually, we discovered Open Mall Lanzarote, a huge multi-level open-air shopping and leisure complex packed with shops, restaurants, cafés and entertainment.
