In our first episode of season 3, Superintendent Dr. Todd Lambert explores how Littleton Public Schools is approaching artificial intelligence thoughtfully, responsibly, and collaboratively. Todd is joined by LPS Library Services Specialist Nick Schuster, Chief Information Officer Desmond Grant, and LPS parent and AI Task Force member Michaela Prescott to discuss the new AI in LPS Framework, which was rolled out at the beginning of the 2026–2027 school year. Together, they talk about why LPS developed the framework, how feedback from different stakeholders helped shape the district’s approach, and some of the questions families are asking as AI becomes an increasingly important part of education. You’ll also hear about the four pillars guiding AI adoption in LPS—AI Literacy, Data Privacy, Teaching and Learning, and Policy and Ethics—and the guidance available for students, staff, and families. Plus, stick around for good news from around LPS, upcoming events, and our guests’ thoughts on the one thing they hope listeners take away about AI in our schools.
