From the 1960s through the 1990s, he composed the music for 331 motion pictures. #Burman collaborated closely with #KishoreKumar and his wife #AshaBhosle to produce many of the songs that catapulted these vocalists to fame. The #Filmfare Awards honored him in 1995 with the creation of the #Filmfare #RDBurman Award for #NewMusicTalent.
