Shathiyat e Sufiya ki Haqiqat kya hai? شطحیاتِ صوفیا کی حقیقت کیا ہے؟ What is the reality of the ecstatic utterances (Shathiyat) of the Sufis? Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri In this video, Shaykh ul Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri explains the true reality of Shathiyyat e Sufiya (the ecstatic utterances of the Sufis). He states that Shathiyyat occur when a Sufi becomes deeply immersed in the spiritual states of Divine Love (Ishq e ilahi) and is overwhelmed by Divine manifestations (Tajalliyat). Such words are spoken in a state of spiritual ecstasy and selflessness they may sound unusual outwardly, but their essence lies in the depth of Divine love and spiritual enlightenment. He further clarifies that Shathiyyat are not principles of Tasawwuf (Sufism) but rather temporary spiritual states that may appear during a Sufi’s journey toward Divine realization. Therefore, one should neither reject them nor build any belief upon them.
