This is a previously lost build of Portal for the Xbox 360 from around February 2007. It was played on Xenia Canary for the sake of this video. No download will be provided at this time. Clarification because people are getting mad in the comments: This build is real. It's actually Logan's build (December 2006 binaries, February 2007 assets). We've known each other for over a decade at this point, and he reached out to me because there were a bunch of _360.dll binaries that he didn't know what to do with, and asked for my help getting it working. There were some things missing, such as a 360 build of the vguimatsurface binary, it didn't even have a default.xex executable. So, I ripped everything else I needed from a dump of Portal: Still Alive and retrofitted it in with this build to get it running on Xenia. There were a few small changes I made specifically for this video, notably fixing up the rocket turret in escape_01 to be parented to the rotating floor panel, and rotating the rocket turret upright in escape_02, this was just to make the game playable beginning to end as there are no console commands to be able to easily spawn a new rocket turret in. I saw someone in the Portal Series Beta Research Discord bring up my tweet about acquiring an Xbox 360 dev kit and they had assumed that was where this was from. That was a massive coincidence though, there was really nothing interesting on it. I understand people aren't really inclined to believe me after the previous Twitter incident where I LARPed a mod that I was working on (now stalled for the time being) as if it was a real build. I honestly don't even know why I did that besides it being mildly entertaining for like a few hours. I'm sorry for misleading yall in the past, I won't pull that shit again lol. From now on, any beta recreations I share will be clearly marked as such.
