🙏 Fear God, Not Human Opinions | A Powerful Catholic Homily Why do we sometimes care more about what people think of us than what God sees in our hearts? In this powerful Gospel reflection, Jesus warns His disciples against the hypocrisy of the Pharisees and reminds them not to live in fear of human judgment. He invites us to recognise that our lives are precious in God's eyes and that we are never forgotten by Him. We often wear masks to gain acceptance, hide our weaknesses to protect our reputation and compromise our values because we are afraid of criticism. But Jesus calls us to something deeper: an authentic life rooted in truth, courage and love for God. This homily invites us to reflect on three important questions: ✝️ Whom do I fear most? Am I controlled by people's opinions, or do I seek to live according to God's truth? ❤️ Do I recognise my worth in God's eyes? Jesus reminds us that we are precious to our heavenly Father, who knows us completely and never forgets us. 🙏 Am I living according to Christ? True faith is not about appearances or pretending to be holy. It is about allowing God's love to transform our hearts and our daily lives. Jesus does not call us to a life of fear, but to a life of faithful love, sincerity and trust. When we know how deeply God loves us, we become freer to do what is right, even when others disapprove. May this homily help us abandon hypocrisy, overcome the fear of human judgment and live with courage as authentic disciples of Jesus Christ.
