Chicago, 1926. Two in the morning. It's pouring. The address was on a matchbook someone slid across a bar last Tuesday. A side alley off Michigan Avenue. Stairs going down. You knock the way you were told. The slot opens. You say the word. The bolt slides. Brick walls. Low ceiling. Candles on every table. A clarinet player in the corner bending notes so slow they almost break. The bartender doesn't ask what you want — he already knows. Bourbon. Neat. The ice cracks in the glass. Upstairs, the city is drowning. You hear it through the ceiling — rain hammering the street, then thunder rolling in from Lake Michigan. The candles shiver. Someone whispers. The music doesn't stop. At some point the lights go out. Just for a second. A match strikes. The flame comes back. So does the bourbon. 1 hours. Original jazz. Layered storm. No talking. No ads. 🎧 Headphones. Volume up. Lights off. #prohibitionrain #speakeasyambience #chicago1920s #thunderstorm #undergroundjazz #noirambience #rainstorm #studymusic #darjazz #prohibitionera
